Over half way through our first season, where is the time going?! SFF Soccer Cubs started off Easter weekend with some fun soccer games. Out classes were a little light on number today with the holiday weekend – parents making the most of their kids time off school to take some vacation time but this did not stop the fun at SFF Soccer Cubs! Each of our three classes ran through as smoothly as always with lots of excited and energetic cubs showing off their soccer and fitness skills to our coaches.
This week we introduced our bubble gun at the end of each class and as expected this was a huge hit…….no sign of tired cubs when it came to running and busting bubbles .
This week we hosted another fantastic party at SFF Soccer Cubs. Evan turned 7 and we were delighted that he, his friends and family chose SFF Soccer cubs to host his birthday party. This soccer mad bunch of boys and girls were raring to go as Coach John called the class to a start. We started with a fun game of “Duck, Duck Goose” to get the fun underway and quickly lead into some soccer games. “Not in my backyard” was next on the list and after 2 games it ended in a tie!
A game of “Stuck in the Mud” and an obstacle lead us through to the very anticipated scrimmage game……..this is what this party was all about!
The game tempo was way above our expectations and we were so surprised at the talent of all the boys and girls at the party, this obviously was not their first time with a soccer ball.
After the coaching part of the party everyone got a well-deserved break for some cake and again finished up with a soccer game – parents included.
Another brilliant party with SFF Soccer cubs – “Happy Birthday Evan”!!!
