Daithi’s Birthday Party Fun!

Today SFF Soccer Cubs had their very first birthday party at Loomis Field. Daithi turned 3 years old and was so excited to enjoy some sun, fun and soccer at Loomis Field. The guests trickled in and our coaches greeted everyone and took the kids to kick some goals while the grownups set up the party. Our last Demo!

Today we had our final Demo class and the turnout of family and friends was amazing! Everyone had their SFF Soccer Cubs tees and were ready for another fun filled, energetic class! We started off the class with our usual stretching and everyone loosened up and looked set to get started. Hoop chasing was the launch game today and both parents and kids were running around like crazy. We finished the game with some hoop goals, showing our coaches what a talented bunch of kids we have! Let the fun begin!

We are so excited to announce the first official season of SFF Soccer Cubs starting on March 8th! Sign up opens this week. We’re in the midst of prepping to get everything ready.  Equipment and activities have been tested, coaches are chomping at the bit to have the kids fall in love with soccer and the field is being primed for everyone’s arrival. Only our 2nd demo and it keeps getting better

Our second Demo class started with our routine of introductions (we had 2 new faces added to the group) and stretches before getting into the various activities. The games were split into 5-minute sessions and we quickly learned what games were favored above others. Coach Dan read the kids’ reactions well and had some of the games go longer because no one wanted the fun to end!
